Uttar Pradesh: 805 MSME projects to take off during investor’ meet on Friday
LUCKNOW: At least 805 micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) projects will take off during the third ground-breaking ceremony being organised by the state government on Friday.
"The ground-breaking ceremony will see 805 MSME sector projects coming to ground on Friday. While Gautam Budh Nagar will be home to a maximum 40 such projects, Mathura follows next with 15,” said cabinet minister for industries and infrastructure development Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi.
He added that eight such projects will come up in Lucknow, seven in Barabanki and six each in Ghaziabad and Gorakhpur. The minister also said that the agriculture sector has the next big chunk of projects in absolute numbers. “As many as 275 of agriculture and allied industries and 65 of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies projects will also take off on the occasion,” he said.
