Mudra NPAs: Bad loans in FY21 jumped 30% in value; nearly doubled from FY19
Credit and Finance for MSMEs: 5.07 crore loans involving Rs 3.21 lakh crore were sanctioned in FY21, of which Rs 3.11 lakh crore loan amount was disbursed in comparison to 6.22 crore loans sanctioned in FY20.
Credit and Finance for MSMEs: The value of gross non-performing assets (NPAs) or bad loans under the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY) had increased to Rs 34,090.34 crore during the financial year 2020-21, up 30.7 per cent from Rs 26,078.43 crore in FY20, and nearly doubled from Rs 17,712.63 crore in FY19. The NPA share against total disbursements also increased from 2.51 per cent in FY19 to 2.53 per cent in FY20, and 3.61 per cent in FY21.
