MSME Award 2022: Bihar bags 2nd prize

PATNA: Bihar has bagged the second prize in the ‘National MSME A Award 2022’ to states/UTs for outstanding contributions to the promotion and development of the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) sector. PM Narendra Modi will give the award at a function to be organized by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Delhi on June 30, state industry minister Syed Shahnawaz Hussain told media persons on Monday. Odisha and Haryana have bagged first and third prize, respectively.

“Industrialization of Bihar heavily depends upon the development of MSME sector. It is evident from the fact that most of the Rs 36,000 crore investments received in the past 1.5 years have come from the MSME sector,” Shahnawaz said.
