Indians from tier-II cities spend 16% of income shopping online, average time spent over 2 hours: Re

New Delhi, June 28 (KNN) Indian consumers from tier-II cities are spending around 16 per cent of their income on e-commerce purchases, according to a report by CyberMedia Research (CMR) – a technology market research and advisory firm.


The study pointed out that Indians from tier-II cities and beyond spend an average of 2 hours and 25 minutes per week shopping online. Tier-II cities, including Guwahati, Coimbatore, and Lucknow amongst others, lead in terms of time spent on online shopping.
